Which Coach Are You?

1. RVing at Kohler Andrea State Park

Kohler Andrea State Park is the ultimate destination for an RV golfing vacation in Wisconsin. The park has four Pete Dye-designed courses nearby at Destination Kohler.

The prestigious Whistling Straits championship course, rated as Golf Digest’s third best course in the USA during 2019, is just a 20-minute drive away. This course plays host to the PGA Championship and the Ryder Cup.

Close by you can indulge in the charms of the Irish course, also a links offering, and Blackwolf Run—one of the US Women’s Open hosts—is an hour’s drive away. Kohler is an exclusive destination with much to offer the discerning traveler including a host of restaurants and wine bars.

Back at camp, you’ll find something to keep everyone busy. Kohler Andrea State Park is on the shores of Lake Michigan with its bounty of water attractions. Boating, kayaking, and canoeing are available onsite, or you can head out to discover the hiking trails and explore the dunes within the park.

During the winter months, cross country skiing offers a wealth of fun and entertainment, as well as the chance to spot some resident wildlife along the way.

There are 52 RV campsites within the park. They all feature electrical hookups, fire pits, and picnic tables. Drinking water is readily available as well as modern restrooms with showers and a laundry room. There’s firewood available onsite.

The campsites are close to the beach, and it’s a good idea to book well in advance if you want a
grassed site with a long driveway for your Newmar.
