What is Newmar Academy?
Newmar Academy is an in-depth, hands-on program designed specifically for Newmar coach owners. Whether you want to dive deeper into the mechanics of your coach or simply learn valuable maintenance tips, our experts will guide you through everything you need to know to maintain and enjoy your Newmar with confidence.
Who can attend?
While open to all owners, Newmar Academy will have a primary focus on our most premium Class A & C motorhomes (2018 and newer). Because of limited class sizes, Newmar will invite and prioritize coach owners with scheduled service appointments during the week of the Academy. If there are still available spots, Newmar will then reach out to coach owners on the Academy waitlist who have previously expressed interest in attending.
What is the cost?
The fee is $999 for up to two people (as of the time of this publication; please check with Service for updates). Both individuals must be owners of the same coach.
How can I pay?
Once your registration is received, Newmar will send an email confirmation with more information within 1-2 business days. In addition, you will receive an email including a link for payment. Please note that these emails may land in a spam or junk folder. Spots are not reserved until payment is received.
What is the cancellation policy?
- Cancellations made more than two weeks before the event will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made between one and two weeks prior will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made within one week of the event are nonrefundable; however, the full amount may be applied to a future academy within the same calendar year.
Do I need to bring my coach to Newmar Academy?
A customer coach is not required for any of the training classes. Newmar provides mock-ups of many components and systems used for hands-on training.
What can I expect to learn?
Throughout the week, you will receive expert instruction from Newmar specialists and trainers, as well as from vendors and suppliers. Topics include, but may not be limited to:

- Multiplex Systems
- Marketing Roundtable
- Newgle Knowledgebase
- Electronics and Entertainment Systems (Winegard, WiFi Ranger, and Starlink)
- HVAC and Hydronic Heating
- Battery Management
- Infotainment and Navigation Systems (RiverPark)
- Slideout Maintenance and Emergency Retraction
- RV Service and Maintenance Intervals
- Chassis Fireside Chat (Spartan and Freightliner)
An optional factory tour is also available to get a behind-the-scenes look at how your coach is built. This tour is typically offered on Monday, prior to Academy training Tuesday through Friday.
What do meals look like throughout the week?
Complimentary light breakfast, snacks, and a catered lunch are all provided. If specific dietary restrictions are required, please notify Newmar at the time of Academy Registration.
What if I have pets?
While two pet lobbies are available at the Newmar Service Center, Newmar is not responsible for your pets. Accommodations must be made by coach owners during Academy hours, as pets are not allowed in the training facilities (with the exception of service animals).
Where will we stay during the week?
Owners with a scheduled service appointment at Newmar during the week of Academy will have a reserved spot for their coach at the Newmar Service Park. Owners without a scheduled service appointment at Newmar will not have a reserved spot for their coach at the Newmar Service Park. If you require accommodations during Newmar Academy, we recommend making reservations at one of the local campgrounds in the area. Availability may vary, so we encourage you to book early!
