OUR PRIORITIES DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

I share this with you today from Nappanee, Indiana, as we navigate the ever-changing impact of the COVID-19 virus together. While we face the same situation, it certainly has a unique impact on each of us in nearly all facets of our lives. The Miller family is constantly reminded of and praying for protection, especially for those most at risk in our society.

First and foremost, our priority remains the health and safety of Newmar owners and employees, suppliers and dealer partners. We encourage you to continue taking the necessary precautions to protect yourself and others.

We recently made the decision to temporarily suspend production and implement additional measures to reduce the likelihood of coronavirus exposure to our employees. Please reference the list of FAQs below to understand what that may mean for you. And know we are taking every available step to ensure our support remains strong during this time. Our platform will continue to focus on embracing the good life in new ways more relevant to current circumstances. We’re here for information, inspiration, and even a little entertainment as it helps us through. MOTORHOME OWNER QUESTIONNAIRE

The Coronavirus has changed the way people are living. Newmar would love to hear how RV'ers are handling recommended guidelines.

FAQs Regarding Our COVID-19 Response

A: Temporary suspension of new motor home production will begin the week of March 30, and based on current conditions, is scheduled to last through May 3rd.

A: We trust that customers with Newmar units on order to understand that manufacturing will resume when circumstances allow us to insure the health and safety of Newmar’s employees and that of our local community. The quality of their new Newmar motorhome will also continue to be of the utmost importance, and we appreciate their patience.

A: There are many steps we are taking to ensure the safety of employees and customers beginning with limiting service appointments to essential visitors. Additional measures include:

  • Proactively calling scheduled appointments to screen customers for COVID-19 symptoms or contact with potential COVID-19 cases.
  • Temporarily restricting access from customers that have been to Europe, New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut in the last 30 days.
  • Not allowing customers into the shop area
  • Wiping down all customer coaches with disinfectants especially heavily touched areas before and after service is performed.

A: As a precautionary measure, we have suspended all factory tours in all facilities. We will continue to monitor developments related to COVID-19 and follow appropriate guidelines in determining when to re-establish factory tours and Visitors Center accessibility. In the meantime, we welcome those interested in taking a virtual tour.

A: Visitors to Newmar are limited to those conducting essential business. Newmar remains open and performs essential activities for our dealers and owners including remote retail support for dealers as well as technical care, warranty administration, and parts fulfillment.

A: Should you need essential service done on your motorhome, our Find a Service Center tool will help locate the nearest service center. Please consult federal, state and local guidelines before making any trips.

A: Though not coach-specific, Newgle supplies endless documentation related to your coach model and year that has already been verified by Newmar’s Technical Publications department.
