• My camera’s battery was dead when I went to take the picture,  so after the tour a kind couple, Ray & Jackie Campbell,  let me use their camera for a group picture.  Although not everyone stuck around for the picture, this is most of them.  It was a beautiful day for a beautiful group of people representing the United States and Canada!

    The 2011 Newmar Kountry Klub International Rally is now in the history books.  The attendance was down but attendees had a good time.  One of the reasons for the lower attendance was the high fuel prices, which came at the wrong time.  The state of Vermont is a beautiful place to visit.  If you have not been there, put it on your bucket list.

  • Wowza!    It is a hot one here today in Nappanee!  Hottest day of the year, with the heat index of 115 degrees!  I had people on my morning and afternoon tours that braved the heat to come see how Newmar products are built.  Glad none of them had any difficulty getting too “over heated”…  I myself have been drinking plenty of water to make sure I stay hydrated.  Hopefully the weather is going to break over the weekend, and be cooler next week...

  • Here is a nice picture of my group of customers that came through the Newmar plant on my afternoon tour today.   It is such a beautiful day here in Indiana, we don’t get these kind of days very often!   Everyone enjoyed the tour and had several questions regarding the new 2012 products.

  • What a wonderful group of people I had on my tour today.  Started out on the tour with good weather, and about half way through the tour, a major thunderstorm came through.  Luckily we were inside the building and had to wait a few minutes when the tour ended for the rain to stop.  Some of our customers braved the rain, wind, and lightning and ran back over to the tour office.  I can only imagine how soaked they must have been  in doing so...
