Maintaining Your Full-Paint Masterpiece Finish
Whether you’re a current Newmar owner looking for advice or a future customer looking to plan ahead, the following tips can help will help you maintain your Newmar’s gorgeous finish for as long as you own your motorcoach.
- Just like your car, wash your Newmar coach in a shaded area using warm water and automotive wash soap. Never use household soaps as many contain harsh abrasives that can damage your finish. Start with the roof and work your way down. Pay special attention to the front of your vehicle, using a bug and tar remover if necessary. When you’re finished, use chamois cloths or terry towels for drying.
- Be sure and wax your coach at least once every six months to fill in fine scratches, protect your finish and produce a sparkling shine. If your motorhome has been exposed to the elements for several years, a polish may help bring new life to your finish. In cases where paint is oxidized or scratched severely, use of a rubbing compound may be required, but use with caution and only after consulting with a paint or detailing professional.
All of us at Newmar are dedicated to crafting the best recreational vehicles on the market today. Our dazzling Full-Paint Masterpiece Finish is a primary example of our commitment to excellence in everything we do.
